This is a part-time hourly contract position, estimated Up to 25 hours/week. There is a
possibility of an extension and/or transition to a full-time associate position based on performance.
Project New Yorker is seeking experienced and passionate speakers to lead informative, community-centered workshops that support the health, rights, and well-being of New Yorkers. We welcome professionals, advocates, and educators who can present on topics such as immigration rights, worker protections, family and disability support, mental health, trauma awareness, chronic disease management, self-care, maternal health, and related issues. Year Round Internship is a unique opportunity for organized and motivated high school or college students to work closely with the Project New Yorker team to execute and deliver a wide range of outreach and communication tasks.
This internship requires a minimum commitment of 7-10 hours per week up to 12 weeks. The intern is expected to work with the team in person at Project New Yorker’s office in Jamaica, Queens.
Interns will provide support in Research and Grant Development, and in Outreach and Communications departments.
