About Me:

Education & Training

I am passionate about helping other women like me, who have so much potential to grow but are held back by the language barrier and lack of knowledge in navigating public resources. As an outreach assistant at Project New Yorker, I am the first contact for many women who are new to New York City and struggling to make ends meet. I am committed to helping them connect with the crucial resources they need to survive and thrive, just as Project New Yorker helped me.

I understand the challenges that these women face because I have been there myself. When I first came to New York City, I didn’t speak English very well and I didn’t know where to turn for help. I was feeling lost and overwhelmed. But Project New Yorker was there for me. They helped me learn English, find a job, and access the resources I needed to get on my feet.

Now, I want to give back to the community by helping other women like me. I want to be their advocate and their guide. I want to help them navigate the system and find the resources they need to succeed.

I know that together, we can make a difference. We can create a world where all women have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
